Tomorrow, Sunday February 3rd, is your chance to enjoy a fine spaghetti meal. Sponsored by local Boy Scout Troop 120, this freewill offering meal is being served from 11am until 1pm at the Bethany Lutheran Church Fellowship Center. Proceeds will go towards summer camp fees for the scout troop.

And then a week from today, on Saturday, February 9th, it’s your chance to enjoy a Valentine coffee, shop at the bake and craft sale and help in a good cause! Beginning at 9am and lasting until 11, it’s time for the Hospital Auxillary’s fundraiser, held at the Trinity United Methodist church on south Main street in Lindsborg.

A wonderful winter tradition in Lindsborg is the annual Lindsborg Arts Council Chocolate Lover’s Affair. Now in its 14th year, the Chocolate Lover’s Affair is a wonderful opportunity to sample delicious chocolate delights! This year, the event will be held on Saturday, February 16th, from 6 to 8pm at the Birger Sandzen Gallery in Lindsborg. Admission is 5$ for Lindsborg Arts Council and Sandzen members; 7$ for the general public. In addition to the lovely chocolate treats, the Artful Tables display continues to be a part of this event. Prizes will be awarded, so if you are interested in entering a dessert or table, please contact the Lindsborg Arts Council to reserve your spot; their number is 785 227 3032. Advance tickets may also be purchased by calling 227 3032.

Starting tomorrow, community favorite artist Eric Abraham will return for a month long stay as the Artist in Residence at the Red Barn Studio on north Main in Lindsborg. We’ll have more details in a future broadcast.

Finallly, congratulations are in order for the Karpov Chess School, as they have arranged for 3 major chess championships to be held in Lindsborg this summer.
