Every year for the past 125 years Handel’s Messiah has been performed in Lindsborg during Easter week. This year continues the tradition, marking the 125th continuous year of performances. It turns out this is the longest continuing performance of the Messiah in all of North America.

Part of what makes the Messiah performance special is the participation of so many local folks; if you’d like to become a part of the Messiah choir, please contact Daniel Mahraun, at 785 227 3311, ext 8334.

And finally, coming up tomorrow, January 28th,the Lindsborg Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual meeting and banquet starting at 6:30pm. The event will be held in the dining room at Pihlbad Memorial Union, Bethany College. call 785 227-3706 for tickets; everyone is welcome.
